Almost a year ago, the Mannheim fashion retailer reorganized his management, now there are changes again.
Chief Operating Officer Armin Weger will leave the company in summer at its own request and in the best mutual agreement to devote themselves to new professional challenges, Engelhorn said on Monday. In the future, CEO Fabian Engelhorn, who takes over Wegers, and CFO Sebastian Bungartz will be responsible for the management of the company.
With Weger, Engelhorn says goodbye to a longstanding manager. He came to the company in December 2015 as part of the management, initially within Engelhorn Sports GmbH, and later also took over the management of Engelhorn Mode GmbH. Under his leadership, both areas were merged into an integrated, powerful network, according to the statement.
The slimmer management structure is part of the entrepreneurial further development and is intended to support the goal of the Mannheim fashion dealer to act even more agile, circular: to act inner names and future -oriented.
“The strategic realignment is our active step into a future in which we are announced: closeness to the internal, experience orientation and sustainable yield and sales growth consistently in focus,” said the CEO. “With our new store in the Gridx adventure center in Luxembourg and the upcoming location in Mainz, we will also make this claim visible there.”
