Chelsea, one of the English Premier League teams, announced that they agreed in principle with Molde, one of the Norwegian teams, on the transfer of David Fofana.
In the statement made by the club, it was stated that the young striker from Ivory Coast, whose transfer fee was agreed, will join the team on January 1, 2023.
According to reports in the British press, Chelsea will pay 12 million euros for Fofana. The 20-year-old player has performed 21 goals and 7 assists in 37 matches in all lanes this season for the Norwegian team Molde.
Chelsea, who could not display a good image on the offensive line this season due to the closing of the season after Armando Broja’s injury and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s formlessness, scored 19 goals against the opponents in 15 league games.
