While the World Cup is in full swing in the USA, Mexico and Canada, according to a media report, FC Barcelona has received a transfer offer that is quite something. And that apparently gives the Barca bosses pause.

According to information from the portal “fichajes.net”, FC Barcelona has received an offer worth 100 million euros for winger Raphinha. The offer is said to come from Saudi Arabia, but no specific interested party is named. The Spanish newspaper “Mundo Deportivo” recently reported that Al-Hilal and Al-Nassr were said to have made an offer of 80 million euros.

The 29-year-old Brazilian is one of the leading players in head coach Hansi Flick’s squad. The left winger moved from Leeds United to the Catalans in the summer of 2022 for 58 million euros.

Since then he has played 177 competitive games in which he delivered an impressive 75 goals and 59 assists. He has already won the championship three times with Barca and also won the Spanish Cup in 2025.

FC Barcelona has already signed a new left winger

Although the 40-time Brazilian international is one of the top performers in the team, Barcelona does not seem to have sent a rejection message to Saudi Arabia. As “fichajes.net” writes, the mega offer for Raphinha turns FC Barcelona’s plans upside down.

The prospect of being able to generate income of 100 million euros in the summer is “attractive” for those responsible for the club. The Catalans still have major financial difficulties, so any possible transfer will be “carefully” examined.

It is unclear whether Raphinha, whose contract is valid until 2028, is open to saying goodbye. He wanted to wait for the World Cup first and then make a decision. According to “fichajes.net”, the winger would receive a significantly better salary in Saudi Arabia than in Barcelona. With Anthony Gordon, FC Barcelona has already signed another left winger.
