The police from the West Coast zone conducted a check in Kinderlaan in Nieuwpoort. This was aimed at any signals that could indicate human trafficking or human smuggling. But the police found nothing abnormal in that regard.
Alcohol tests were also taken at the same time and the driver’s licenses of three drivers were immediately revoked for 15 days. One driver also received a citation for refusing to attach an inspection vignette to his windscreen.
