The prologue of the Baloise Ladies Tour is in the name of Charlotte Kool. The cyclist from Kortenhoef is therefore the first wearer of the leader’s jersey in the multi-day stage race through the Netherlands and Belgium.
The prologue was held in Vlissingen and was 2.6 kilometers long. Kool did the short distance in 3 minutes and 6 seconds. In the end she was only a few hundredths of a second faster than the number two Lucinda Brand. Sweden’s Jenny Rissveds finished third, 3 seconds behind Kool.
The Baloise Ladies Tour will last until Sunday.
