For many people it has been a dream since childhood: running your own clothing store. This dream came true for Charlotte, even though she is only 22 years young! She is the branch manager of America Today in Zoetermeer, the youngest branch manager in the company. “I am proud that it has happened so quickly, I always have ambitions to grow and progress.”

“At America Today we are known for sporty and comfortable style, and for our iconic sweaters and denim of course,” says Charlotte. “Many people think it is an American store because of the name, but the chain started in the Netherlands. What is really American is the clothing style: chill, baggy looks that are also very trendy.”
“Our largest target group is young people and students. I think it’s great that so many of the customers are my peers, I can empathize with them very well.” But America Today isn’t just for students: “We have clothes for men, women and children.”

A store full of inspiration
“I now have a team of only girls under the age of thirty. That is very nice, and the girls also have a good sense of fashion. They all have their own visions and ideas, which often brings new inspiration to the store.”
Every week, Charlotte and her team members redecorate the store and the mannequins wear new outfits. “New combinations are always being invented. Anyone looking for inspiration for fresh looks can definitely come here!”
Atmospheric shopping
In Charlotte’s store you can shop in a good atmosphere. “We always have several team members in the store, so that customers receive good service. In addition to our standard work in the store, customer service is our priority. We also see in reviews that customers are very happy with the service. The store is very cozy and clearly furnished, which also contributes to the pleasant atmosphere here.”
“I have been coming to Stadshart Zoetermeer all my life, my parents used to have a store here. You will find everything you need here, from groceries to shopping. I have good contact with the other retailers, together we ensure that you can shop here comfortably and safely.”
