“Everyone knows that I feel extremely comfortable in Dortmund. I love the fans, the stadium, the club and the mood. Everyone knows that and sees it when I stand on the pitch. I really appreciate that,” Borussia Dortmund’s goalkeeper Gregor Kobel told “Bild”.
The 27-year-old still has a contract with BVB until 2028 and will definitely appear for the black and yellow in the coming season.

“I can’t remember ever to have said that this was my dream,” said Kobel when asked by the tabloid.

The Confederation changed from VfB Stuttgart to Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2021 within the Bundesliga. As a result, Kobel developed into a safe BVB retention.
The keeper is currently with the Westphalia at the club World Cup in the USA. “Certainly there are a lot of games per season at the moment and that is really hard for the body. But the club World Cup is a new experience and I’m looking forward to the games against teams from other continents. We drive everywhere to win-that has to be our claim,” said Kobel to the XXL tournament.
The BVB meets at the start of the group phase on Tuesday (6 p.m. CET IM sport.de-Liveticker) in East Rutherford/New Jersey on Fluminensee Rio de Janeiro.
Other opponents of Borussia Dortmund are the Mamelodi Sundowns from South Africa and the South Korean champion Ulsan HD FC.
