There were no goals in the first half, but after the 0-1 of Karim Adeyemi shortly after the break it went completely loose in Turin. Kenan Yildiz was right, but Felix Nmecha helped the Germans in the lead again. Dusan Vlahovic brought Juventus alongside for the second time.

Yan Couto, however, gave Dortmund the lead again and after a used penalty from Ramy Bensebaini the game seemed to be decided in German benefit. Goals from again Vlahovic and Lloyd Kelly made the stadium explode. Koopmeers had started in the base, but changed in a 2-2 position halfway through the second half.

Jurriën Timber starts strong with Arsenal

Arsenal started with a victory at Athletic. The club from London won 2-0 in Bilbao thanks to hits from invaders Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard.

Against the Spanish club, Arsenal, which started with Jurriën Timber in the defense, could create few opportunities for a long time. Trainer Mikel Arteta brought Trossard and Martinelli into the team in the second half. Trossard sent the newly picked up Martinelli and he scored immediately. Fifteen minutes later it was the other way around and Trossard finished it.

Arsenal came to the semi-finals in the most important European club tournament last season, in which it was eliminated by the later winner Paris Saint-Germain.

Small win Real Madrid on Olympique Marseille

Real Madrid, fifteen-time winner of the European Cup 1 and Champions League, won 2-1 against Olympique Marseille. Kylian Mbappé used two penalties for the Madrilenenen, who ended the game with ten men after a red card for Dani Carvajal.

Timothy Weah had opened the score for the French team. Former Feyenoorder Igor Paixao came in in the second half, but could not prevent the defeat of Olympique either.

Tottenham Hotspur wins through its own goal

Tottenham Hotspur has won the first game against the Spanish Villarreal. In-house, De Ploeg from London won 1-0 through an early own goal from Luiz Junior. Micky van de Ven and Xavi Simons were basically at the Spurs. Simons was changed in the second half.
