THEas Vegas, 8 Jan. (askanews) – One of the most interesting innovations in the field of risk management arrives from Italy at CES 2026 in Las Vegas. It is that of Accudire, an innovative startup from Veronawhich presents QP-ERM at the Italian pavilion, a platform based on quantum technologies designed to help companies and consumers make decisions in increasingly complex and uncertain contexts.

International trade, transport, movement of people: these are the areas in which instability has become the norm today, between geopolitical crises, climate change and sudden shocks to global supply chains. QP-ERM was created precisely to address this scenario, offering a system capable of comparing alternative future scenarios and suggesting the best choices when past data is no longer enough.

The project, developed over three years with the support of the University of Verona, integrates advanced artificial intelligence and Quantum Machine Learning, opening a new frontier in risk prediction.

In the center of the platform is what Care defines a real “quantum brain”: a decision engine that uses optimization and learning algorithms to analyze large quantities of heterogeneous climatic, geopolitical and logistical data and explore as many scenarios as possible in parallel.

But the real leap in quality lies in the way in which Accudire rethinks artificial intelligence: no longer an AI that only looks to the past, but a model capable of dealing with the uncertainty of the future.

“Traditional AI typically works on historical data, on historical trends, it learns and reworks something that has already happened, obviously trying to make it adaptable to what could be a future perspective – explained Abramo Vincenzi, CEO of Accudire – Quantum computing – in particular we are going to use quantum machine learning algorithms, such as the quantum kernel, rather than optimization algorithms – allows you to work even in situations in which historical data does not exist or is non-linear, in which risk management is changeable and volatile in the face of scenarios that change suddenly and radically. The development of these quantum algorithms allows you to reshape and make these possible future scenarios adaptable.”

The benefits also reach consumers: “Because the final consumer can have an immediate return in being able to choose fresher products, seeing less possibility of interruption of the supply chain – underlined Vincenzi – Let’s think for example of the pharmaceutical chain, therefore immediate availability of medicines in the event of geopolitical crises”.

At Ces 2026, Accudire brings its vision: transforming uncertainty into a competitive advantage, thanks to a new, more scientific and predictive way of managing risk in the global era.
