22-year-old Minda has played for Cercle Brugge since the summer of 2023 and has a contract until 2028. In 99 games, the winger scored fourteen goals and sixteen assists.
“With his speed and courage, Alan provided several memorable moments. For example, his iconic solo in the Bruges derby is forever etched in the memory of many Cercle fans,” Cercle says on its website. “A season later, he also wrote European history by scoring the first ever Cercle goal against Sankt Gallen in the group stage of the UEFA Conference League.”
Minda, who reportedly earns Cercle 9 million euros, is now also an international for his country and has already collected eighteen caps (two goals). Ecuador has qualified for next summer’s World Cup and will play against Ivory Coast, Germany and Curaçao in the group stage.
