Caroline van der Plas recently found out that she is most likely a distant relative of reality star Martien Meiland. ,,I think it’s great”, Van der Plas responds to the news at the table on Tuesday evening Beau.
Caroline van der Plas found out about the news, which was discovered by the account ‘Stamboom van Nederland’ on TikTok. Caroline’s great-great-grandparents also turn out to be great-great-grandparents of Martien, which means that they share the same gene for 1 percent. The video went viral on social media in recent days Beau shows the images again during his talk show, Van der Plas still cannot believe her happiness. “I think it’s great, I think it’s so much fun,” the politician responded.
,,I just think Martien is a very nice man”, she continues. “Of course we have the same genes, I’ve heard 1 percent, but that 1 percent is doing well.” The two know each other from the TV program Farm van Dorst, when they were both guests at Raven van Dorst. She and Martien hit it off right away. “We laughed really hard, I think he’s very funny.”
For now, there is only one thing for the politician to do, and that is to spend the holidays together. The Christmas party ‘can no longer do without’ the reality star, joked Van de Plas ,,I celebrate Christmas with family, so it has to be with Martien this year.”
