Carnival drama Strépy also cut deep into aid workers: “We are only people”

Human suffering was enormous when a car crashed into a group of carnivalists in Strépy-Bracquegnies on 20 March. Six people were killed and 37 others were injured. The first responders who went to the scene saw horrific scenes. More than 60 of them needed psychological counseling afterwards, says aid chief Marc Huwé in the Supresse newspapers.
