On the N381 Two Provinciënweg near Beilen, a car caught fire while driving last night. This happened near the roundabout at the A28.
When the fire brigade arrived, meter -high flames hit the vehicle. The fire was quickly under control, but little remained from the car.
The occupants managed to get out of the car on time and were not injured. However, the car must be considered a total loss. Because of the fire, the road was temporarily blocked.
