Registrations in the vehicle rental sector, including cars and light commercial vehicles, confirm the positive signs that emerged in the first part of the year: the 2025 data indicate an annual growth performance in volumes, with a total of approximately 525 thousand registrations, over 50 thousand more compared to 2024 (+10.73%). These are the main data and ideas that emerge from the annual analysis of the vehicle rental sector promoted by Aniasathe association that represents the mobility sector in Confindustria pay-per-use and the market analysis company Dataforce. From January to December the rental sector registered 524,728 vehicles (+10.73%), of which 453,892 cars (+13.3%) And 70,836 light commercial vehicles (-3.34%). The rental share of the entire market reaches 30.6%: in the car sector the share is 29.55%in the work vehicles sector it rose to 39.57%.
