A car crashed into a tree on Rolderhoofdweg in Assen last night. A 38-year-old man and a child were taken to hospital with injuries.
A 35-year-old woman who was also in the car was not injured. All three occupants are from the municipality of Aa en Hunze.
The accident happened around 00.30 am. Several ambulances and an air ambulance arrived at the scene of the accident. The Rolderhoofdweg was closed for some time due to the accident last night. It is not yet known how the accident happened.
