A car crashed into a tree on the N372 near Peize tonight and came to a stop shortly afterwards. The driver of the car was injured and taken to hospital, police said.
She was trapped and freed from the car by firefighters, police said.
The police will investigate the cause of the accident. The N372 between Peize and Hoogkerk is closed in both directions due to the accident.
