A motorist was injured this afternoon. The occupant crashed his car into a tree on the Brinkenweg in Emmen. The victim was taken to hospital by ambulance.
It is not known exactly how the accident could happen. Bystanders do say that a second vehicle was involved. The police are investigating the cause of the accident.
