A car and scooter ended up in the water on Monday morning on the Kanaaldijk Zuidwest in Helmond. The scooter that rode on the cycle path collected with a van. Moments later, the car got into the water from the road.
The scooter was taken out of the water by the fire brigade. The drivers of the scooter and the car were treated by ambulance personnel. How seriously injured is not clear.
The road is closed in both directions from Helmond towards Weert.
