The 26-year-old Schopf prevailed in a gripping final on the 160-meter route in 27.86 seconds by just one hundredth of a second against Florstedt. “Moritz was at the beginning so quickly. Pauline Jagsch from Berlin secured a bronze in the kayak one. Jagsch narrowly won the small finale against Kajak-Vierer-Teamkollegin Katharina Diederichs and was happy after the race in the sports show: “I would also have been happy for Katta. It is important that we then work together in the four. We enjoy the atmosphere here in Dresden.”
