The morning rush hour on the track therefore takes a difficult start in our province: train traffic between Ostend and Bruges is stationary. From Ostend, commuters cannot go by train towards the interior. For the time being, replacement buses are running between Ostend and Bruges.
“There is a problem with the signal lights on that connection,” says Infrabel. “The signals are red, perhaps due to a problem with the electrical power supply of the lights. Our technical teams try to solve the problem as quickly as possible.”
