The Royal Palace on Dam Square is partly daubed with red paint, can be seen on webcam images of the Amsterdam square. Palestine Action NL claims to have done this Tuesday morning “in response to the mayor’s prohibition on the national commemoration for Palestine”. A spokesperson for Mayor Femke Halsema was not immediately accessible for an explanation.
