Edin Terzic had recently appointed the keeper as deputy captain behind Emre Can (29) – at just 25 years old and after only two seasons in the BVB jersey. According to reports, the Swiss has recently been an issue at several top European clubs, including Chelsea FC. In London he could have earned an annual salary of up to 20 million euros, it was said.
