The rumors about a possible return from Jadon Sancho to Borussia Dortmund do not tear off. Now the poker is supposed to pick up the 25 -year -old Englishman – and BVB are right in the middle of it.
As the transfer expert Ekrem Konur reports via X, the district club is one of more than ten (!) Associations that are currently supposed to strive for an obligation by Jadon Sancho.
In addition to BVB, Bundesliga competitor Bayer Leverkusen, Juventus Turin and the SSC Naples from Italian series A as well as the Premier League clubs Aston Villa and Newcastle are also called United.
In addition, the Turkish heavyweights Fenerbahce and Galatasaray as well as several teams from Saudi Arabia should deal with Sancho. A desert change from the wing striker therefore seems unlikely that it prefers to stay in Europe, it is said.
Sancho’s current situation is tricky. Until June 30th he was loaned by Manchester United to Chelsea. Then there is a purchase obligation of around 30 million euros. However, the Conference League winner can (and will) apparently undermine this by paying a fee of six million euros.
BVB: Kehl confirms “Contact” with Sancho, but …
If this occurs, Sancho would have to return to United on July 1st, but which has no use for him and absolutely wants to get him from the salary list.
The rumors about a renewed BVB return of the “lost son” persistent, even if sports director Sebastian Kehl publicly denies a concrete interest.
“The contact with Jadon is of course always there, in some way, because you have a very long past. But at the moment this is not an issue for us. We have other priorities at the moment and therefore the personnel around Sancho may have been more played in the media than internally discussed,” he said last in a media round as part of the club World Cup in the USA.
