In search of a new trainer and new players, BVB has to overcome some hurdles. But the club is partly responsible for them.

The disadvantage BVB management has been a topic for months (you can read more about this here). Tensions between squad planner Sven Mislintat and sports director Sebastian Kehl became public in summer. Mislintat is said to have contacted several possible new additions or their consultants, although this does not correspond to its task profile.

Now the “Sport Bild” also reports on current cases. For example, coach Roger Schmidt, who was considered a candidate for the successor Nuri Şahins, was said to have been deterred because he was contacted by different representatives of BVB. So Mislintat also addressed the currently unifying coach.

The same is said to have happened to national player Kevin Schade. The wing player from FC Brentford was considered a possible new BVB access to Aston Villa after the sale of Donyell. According to the “Sport Bild”, however, a shame was also contacted by various consultants who offered him to guide him to Dortmund. A process that surprised him. A change is no longer an issue.

The considerations in Dortmund to separate from Sven Mislintat are probably more specific. Sebastian Kehl should also be a wobbly candidate a few weeks ago despite his contract extension. It remains restless with BVB.
