European champion poses with Bundesliga double

Already at the European Championship, fans had noticed the similarity between Alessia Russo and Nadine giant. Now there was a meeting of the doppelgangers.
“We see twice”: With these words, the women’s teams of FC Arsenal and Eintracht Frankfurt posted a photo of their players Alessia Russo and Nadine giant. The background: The English national striker and the Swiss defender in the service of the Bundesliga club are astonishingly similar.
Even during the European Championship in July, which took place in Switzerland, fans had noticed the similarity of the two players. However, there was no meeting, because Switzerland already failed in the quarter -finals on Spain while England won the title.
In a test game by Arsenal against Eintracht Frankfurt in the German Herzogenaurach, the clubs now caught up with this. Russo and giants, laughing happily, posed for common photos – and the fans enjoyed themselves delighted in the comments.
However, the followers could not marvel at the game between the two teams, because the test took place in the exclusion of the public. This changes when Eintracht and Giants start the new Bundesliga season against the SGS Essen on September 5th. Arsenal FC plays the first game in England a day later on September 6th against the London City Lionesses.
