Jenny Hipp came to Union Berlin in summer. But in the Bundesliga she has not yet played a game for her new club. Also because of an unsightly event.

Jenny Hipp has been playing in the women’s Bundesliga for Union Berlin since this summer. However, the midfielder was not used recently and will also miss another game. On Instagram, the 27-year-old in her story explained that she would not be on the field again on Saturday at home against Essen (from 12 p.m.)-because of an incident.

Hipp got in with the words: “At first I was not sure whether and how I would like to comment on it.” Then she explained: “Last week I was pulled into a situation on my way home by a drunk man and rushed down a escalator.”

Although she “got away without serious injuries”, it was not yet ready for the game this weekend. She is currently working “step by step” on her recovery and thanked the news.

Union Berlin is in the Women’s Bundesliga in 10th place in the table. So far, the team has only been able to get one point and lost the last game against Leverkusen 2: 3. Hipp was used against Nuremberg (1-1) this season. She stood on the pitch in front of her station in Berlin for lawn ball sport Leipzig and FC Carl Zeiss Jena.

When I was committed in the summer, Jenny Hipp said: “When I found out that Union tried to get around me, I was immediately fire and flame. Anyone who has to do with German women’s football has noticed what this club has done in recent years and where it should go.”
