He acts like his grandfather, but in a completely different genre. Sebastian Pigazzi27-year-old actor, is the son of Diamante Pedersoli and is Bud Spencer’s nephew. He is a young film talent who grew up in the USA, between New York and Los Angeles. He started out with Luca Guadagnino in the series We Are Who We Are and then entered the casting of the film Time is Up. Today, however, he is in the limelight because he will star in the second season of And Just Like Thatthe sequel to Sex and the City in which he plays the boyfriend of Anthony Marentino.

With his mild air, Sebastiano Pigazzi has the face of classic next door type, the sensitive one that wouldn’t hurt a fly; a Luke Perry beauty, or the James Dean. Maybe that’s why he was chosen by Michael Patrick King to play the Anthony Marentino’s Italian boy in the second season of And Just Like Thaton air on Sky and on Now since last month. But he is not the “nephew of art”, he swears, or at least the offspring of the great Bud Spencer it didn’t help him in his career, “since in the States, where I work, my grandfather doesn’t even know who he is”. Although, he wouldn’t mind “remaking grandpa’s movie”. In an interview with Vogue, the actor explained that as a teenager he was very shy and could not succeed in school. Sebastian has a beautiful memory of the grandfather. But he didn’t memorize all of his films: “for me he was just my grandfather” he declared to Repubblica. And Just Like That is the sequel to the iconic Sex and the Citywith the protagonists Carrie Bradshaw, Charlotte York and Miranda Hobbesplayed by Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon, respectively, in New York City, as they face the challenges of life and love in their adulthood. The series explores themes such as friendship, love, career and family, and focuses on how the three women deal with the challenges of adulthood, including changes in their personal and professional lives. It is a highly anticipated sequel by fans and has been well received by critics. The set of the series allowed Sebastiano to get closer to other cinema icons, such as Sarah Jessica Parker. The actor told of a fun moment he spent with her and Mario Cantone, in which they sang disco songs from the 80s. However, Sebastiano admitted that he was unable to keep up with their pace and that he made a very bad impression.
“Overnight I was on the scene with Sarah Jessica Parker,” he said. “She immediately made me feel welcomed. In the film I am the companion of Antony, the character played by Mario Cantone. I had no extra difficulty doing this role. I find it healthy that homosexuality is finally represented”. The first season of the television series And Just Like Thatconsisting of ten episodes, was broadcast in Italy on Sky and streaming on NOW starting December 9, 2021; the second series, however, was launched, again on Sky, Friday 23 June.
