On Friday, the Brussels Parliament unanimously approved a proposal by opposition member Victoria Austraet (ex-DierAnimal, now independent) to ban the capture and killing of pigeons in the Brussels Region. The initiative has the full support of Animal Welfare Minister Bernard Clerfayt (DĂ©FI), the latter said in a statement.
