Foreign Ministry spokesman Zakharov: RT DE is licensed in Serbia and can broadcast in 33 countries
The RT DE TV channel, which was banned in Germany, has a license to broadcast in 33 European countries, stated in Telegram the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Maria Zakharova.
“I wonder if they pretend to be in Berlin or don’t really understand? The RT DE channel is licensed in Serbia. According to the European Convention on Transfrontier Television, RT DE broadcast is possible in 33 European countries, including Germany,” she wrote.
Zakharova noted that the channel was broadcasting from Moscow, and not from Berlin.
Why is Germany here? Or does the German government think it also has a license for the German language?” she asked.
