Bruce Willis’ daughter Tallulah talks about his dementia

In February, Bruce Willis’ family announced that he had frontotemporal dementia. Since then, neither he nor his family have provided many details or insights into the 68-year-old’s life. Now his daughter Tallulah Willis was in the “Drew Barrymore Show” was a guest and gave an update on her father’s health.

Spread more awareness

“He’s the same and I think that’s the best you can ask for in that regard. I see love when I’m with him. And it’s my father and he loves me, which is really special,” explains the 29-year-old. In addition to the recently diagnosed dementia, Bruce Willis has also been suffering from aphasia since March 2022. The speech disorder is often associated with frontotemporal dementia and led to Willis’ family announcing his retirement from acting.

Tallulah Willis now reported on the talk show why the family wants to be so open about the “Die Hard” actor’s diagnosis: “On the one hand, it’s who we are as a family, but it’s also really important for us to raise awareness spread frontotemporal dementia. If we can take something that we struggle with as a family to help other people, turn it around and make something beautiful out of it, that’s really special for us.”
