The own-label subsidiary of the Düsseldorf clothing retailer Peek & Cloppenburg will have to do without Brigitte Danielmeyer in the future. The previous managing director of the International Brands Company (IBC) has left the company, as the Peek & Cloppenburg group of companies confirmed on Wednesday at the request of FashionUnited.

Danielmeyer, who worked for the company for around ten months, moved from the clothing supplier Gerry Weber to the P&C subsidiary IB Company last January, according to her profile on the LinkedIn career network. There she led the entire private label portfolio of JC Brand AG and International Brands Company and was supposed to “drive the strategic direction and innovation of important brands such as Jakes, Review, McNeal and Christian Berg,” it said in a statement at the time. Before her time at P&C and Gerry Weber, Danielmeyer was Director Buying Women at C&A for three years.

Her tasks will now be taken over by Sergio Odriozola, Managing Director of JC Brands AG. Her departure comes just one day after the announcement that chief buyer Jason Morgan would also be leaving Peek & Cloppenburg Düsseldorf.
