Defending champions BR Volleys go into the play-offs of the Volleyball Bundesliga as league leaders.
The newly crowned cup winner won 3-0 (25:20, 25:23, 25:23) against the SWD powervolleys Düren on the last match day of the main round and thus defended the top position. At the start of the play-offs, the series champions from Berlin will meet the Baden Volleys SCC Karlsruhe in the quarter-finals on March 17th (4 p.m./Dyn).
“We had to fight, we did it well and in the end we pulled through confidently despite the close set results,” said national player Tobias Krick: “Now we have three days off to switch off again before the play-offs. Then we go with full focus in the games against Karlsruhe.”
