Dortmund (dpa) – A possible transfer of star striker Erling Haaland away from Borussia Dortmund would not be made perfect this weekend, according to license player boss Sebastian Kehl.

“Nothing will happen there,” said Kehl on Sky before BVB’s Bundesliga game on Saturday (3:30 p.m. / Sky) against VfL Bochum. “We are in very good talks because of course – and we repeat this almost every day – we want a decision,” added Kehl. “No final decision” has yet been made.

The 21-year-old Haaland can leave Dortmund in the summer for a fixed fee of 75 million euros. The Norwegian has been associated with top European clubs for weeks, most recently with FC Bayern again. Manchester City and Real Madrid are considered potential buyers. He believes that Haaland “feels” that a decision should be made, said Kehl. According to the future BVB sports director, speculation about a deadline of April 30 is wrong.
