Boom blows on newly sold four and a half tons house, much damage | Inland

The fire brigade came to the scene to remove the tree from the house. The facade and the gutter were badly damaged by the fallen tree, and the window – despite double glazing – on the first floor also broke.

According to an advertisement on Funda, the house has already been ‘sold with reservation’. The house was for sale for 440,000 euros and was thoroughly renovated in 2021. A new kitchen was then installed. The property is described by the broker as a ‘beautiful well-maintained corner house with unobstructed views at the front’.

“The sellers were very shocked,” says Van der Meer makelaars & appraisers in a response. “The buyer has also been informed; furthermore is the insurance work. The damage seems to be not too bad, except for some broken roof tiles and other damage. The buyer is still very happy with it and was especially happy that there were no injuries.”
