Body found in Dentergem, public prosecutor’s office starts investigation

Some girls from the chiro of Dentergem noticed the body in a stream on Sunday. Exactly who the deceased person is, and in what circumstances that person died, has not yet been confirmed. The public prosecutor’s office has now launched an investigation to find out the identity of the person and the circumstances of the death.

The police zone in the Tielt region meanwhile confirms that it is the body of an 83-year-old woman from Tielt. The woman had been missing since New Year’s Eve 2022.
