The board of Tesla contacted various agencies in March to start a search for a new CEO to replace Elon Musk, reports the American newspaper The Wall Street Journal, referring to various anonymous sources. It is not clear what the timetable would be for Musks resignation and whether the search is still ongoing, the newspaper writes.
