Myron Boadu has signed at PSV under a contract until mid -2026, with an option for an extra season. The 24-year-old striker did not hesitate when the national champion reported. “If this club comes to you, I think you should always take the first flight.”
Boadu was still under contract with AS Monaco, but did not come to play. He is impressed by his new employer. “It is a team full of quality and you can see that in the head coach. I am a believer boy and can say that God has answered my prayers.”
At PSV he gets back number 21. The former AZ, AS Monaco, FC Twente and VFL Bochum striker hopes to be able to take action quickly. “I am very grateful for this opportunity and I want to show everyone that PSV has made a good move by making me. I am a player who can be important with his strength and speed. Someone who makes goals, but at the same time makes others shine.”
“He makes a very hungry impression.”
Technical director Earnest Stewart sees an ideal replacement in Boadu for the injured Alassane Pléa. “Myron came to the fore as an interesting option. He is a proven goal scorer and also makes a very hungry impression on us. We are convinced that Myron will help us with goals and assists in the Netherlands and the Champions League.”
