Blow for OFC against champion Katwijk, AFC is stuck on a draw

In the second division OFC was again unable to break any pots. The newcomer went to visit national champion Katwijk with a 5-0 loss. AFC also failed to take three points. Against HHC Hardenberg, the score remained on the scoreboard after ninety minutes.

Katwijk – OFC

In Katwijk, the team of trainer Antony Correia already distanced itself from OFC before the break. Robbert Susan and Ahmed El Azzouti were accurate for last year’s champion. As a result, OFC was already trailing 2-0 at halftime. After the break, Katwijk happily thundered on and it went through El Azzouti and two hits by Kilian van Mil to a 5-0 victory. The team of trainer Pieter Mulders is at the bottom after the defeat with four points from nine games.

HHC Hardenberg – AFC

In Hardenberg it was a miracle that there were no hits. The home team in particular had plenty of opportunities, but they were not careful enough in the rounds. The Amsterdam team’s greatest chance came just after the break when Splinter de Mooij shot the ball just wide of the goal. HHC Hardenberg had the upper hand and had the most right to the victory of the two. The draw leaves AFC in fifth place with fifteen points from nine games.
