“For more than two years, staff have been on the problems, such as the towering workload and sales targets,” says ACV Puls, the largest trade union within Lidl. “We now receive daily signals from the workplace: it can’t go further.”
This would include uncertain work schedules and overtime, a high staff turnover and absenteeism, insecurity and aggression, but also structurally under -defined stores and students that are counted as full -time forces.
