According to Tom DeLonge, Blink-182’s “best album” is about to happen.
Tom DeLonge has been part of Blink-182 again since 2022. After the release of “Edging” that same year, the singer proclaimed that the pop-punk band had just written “the best album of their career.” This album now seems imminent.
Promo posters bearing the Blink-182 logo and the words “One More Time…” appeared at various locations. Posters were also spotted in Toronto that appeared to have song lyrics printed on them: “Do I have to die to hear you miss me?/ Do I have to die to hear you say goodbye?/ I don’t want to act like there’s tomorrow/ I don’t want to wait to do this one more time.”
Fans could also scan a QR code that would take them to one webpage which, according to a pop-up window, is currently “closed for maintenance”. Behind the message is a video of a man wearing a hazmat suit cleaning Blink-182 graffiti from a bathroom wall.
Tom DeLonge also made a post on We’re finally here.” Meanwhile, the singer shared a behind-the-scenes photo from a music video shoot via Instagram.
