Black riding becomes more expensive: amount of fines at De Lijn increases by almost 20 percent

The amount of the administrative fines at De Lijn increases by 18.37 percent. This is stated in a decision by the Flemish Minister for Mobility Annick de Ridder (N-VA). The fine amounts follow the indexation of the rates implemented in April of this year. According to Minister De Ridder, it is logical that the fines follow that price development and it must “continue to encourage people to purchase their transport stick correctly”.
