The man parked his burning car around 10.30 pm in the driveway of a house in the Beekstraat. The residents came out, and together with the driver they pushed the vehicle to a nearby field. Then the man took a scooter out of his vehicle and went on.
The fire brigade of the Westhoek zone arrived on the spot to extinguish the fire, but the car is completely burned out. Why the driver suddenly fled is not known for the time being.
