Bishops respond with concern to the Christmas service of far-right activist Tommy Robinson: “Christian symbols do not serve to justify racism”

Bishops of the Southwark diocese have expressed concern about the use of Christian symbols to “justify racism and anti-migrant rhetoric”. They did this in the run-up to the Christmas service of far-right activist Tommy Robinson in central London. Hundreds of supporters showed up.
