Steven Berghuis boards a plane with Ajax for Thursday’s match against Bodø/Glimt in the interim round of the Conference League. The attacker returns to the selection of trainer John van ‘t Schip. He missed the league match against NEC (2-2) on Sunday due to a minor injury.
Captain Steven Bergwijn is still missing from Ajax. The captain is struggling with a hamstring injury. Ajax scored in injury time in the home game against the Norwegian champions last week canceled out a 2-0 deficit (2-2). The winner of the diptych qualifies for the eighth finals of the Conference League.
Van ‘t Schip will give a press conference at 5.45 pm in the Bodø/Glimt stadium, which can accommodate more than 8,000 fans.
