Ben Affleck was particularly notable during the Grammy Awards for sitting next to his wife, Jennifer Lopez, and not moving an expression for most of the time. Various camera angles showed that the show probably bored the 50-year-old. His stony facial expression is also so clear because the 53-year-old Lopez apparently enjoyed the evening very much. Her front row seat only enhanced this effect. A short quarrel
However, the partners’ different approach to the event was most striking during a brief argument that took place right in front of the cameras. Host Trevor Noah sat near their table and performed a skit while talking to his mother on the phone. Affleck chose that exact moment to whisper something in Lopez’s ear, who jerked in response to what was being said, causing the actor to focus on his vest. Shortly thereafter, both noticed that the camera shot also shows them – and adjusted their expressions accordingly.

The memes are joined by speculations about possible problems in the (second) marriage that have been smoldering for some time. On Feb. 6, Lopez shared a Grammy night post on her Instagram that didn’t mention Affleck’s expression, but did mention him. “[Ich habe] always the best time with my love my husband,” the singer captioned.
