The Ypres Emma Meesseman excelled with nineteen points, five rebounds and eight assists. Maxuella Lisowa and Bethy Mununga both took care of seventeen points.
On Sunday, the Belgians in Kortrijk practice again against Italy. On May 30, preparation will continue with a duel against Sweden in Eigenbrakel. At the beginning of June the Belgians go to Brest, for an internship and two duels against France on 3 and 4 June. The last preparation matches will take place against Germany in Leuven and Ostend on 12 and 14 June. At the European Championships at the end of June the Belgians defend their title. In group C they take on Portugal, Montenegro and host country in Brno. The top two continues to the quarterfinals in the Greek Piraeus.
