Müller-Aus at Bavaria apparently still not sealed

Since the weekend, rumors about Thomas Müller’s supposed departure near Bavaria. A report is now relativized.
Thomas Müller and FC Bayern Munich: According to several reports of the past few days, this cooperation, which has now lasted several decades, will soon come to an end. At least as far as active professional football is concerned.
But a current report by the “Spiegel” now clearly contradicts this reading. According to the news magazine, the farewell of the club icons has not yet been sealed. Instead, further discussions between the club and the Müller side are planned this week.
At the weekend, the “kicker” reported that the FCB would not extend the contract with the 35-year-old in the summer. According to “Spiegel”, this information came from the supervisory board. This caused “misconduct” especially in the club tour.
This is hardly surprising, because Bayern’s board boss Jan-Christian Dreesen had said after the 3-2 victory on Saturday against FC St. Pauli in the interview zone of the Munich Allianz Arena in response to a question about Müller: “We are in discussions with players.” This rather non -binding statement Dreesen pushed the interesting addition: “This is the big Breaking News.”
After the contract extensions with stars such as Manuel Neuer and Joshua Kimmich, there are only a few top players at Bayern without a contract that run beyond summer 2025. Accordingly, Dreesen’s statement was assessed in many media in the direction of a prompt extension with Müller. The “kicker” message came all the more astonishing a day later. It only seems that the future of Thomas Müller remains interesting.
