Beau Greaves and Jarno Bottenberg win Dutch Open Darts in Assen

DARTS – Beau Greaves and Jarno Bottenberg have won the Dutch Open Darts 2024 in Assen. Last year the podium was dominated by the Dutch, this year the English Greaves took the win among the women.

Just like last year, Greaves faced the Dutch Aileen de Graaf in the final. While Greaves lost to De Graaf last year, she outsmarted her Dutch opponent this year and won the Dutch Open Darts 2024 5-1.

In the men’s race it was the Dutchman Jarno Bottenberg who took the win. He defeated world champion Wesley Plaisier 3-2.

Assen was the dart capital of the world this weekend. Nearly 7,000 darts players came to the 51st edition of the Dutch Open in De Bonte Wever. Amateurs and professionals can compete against each other at the open darts tournament. “A ‘once in a lifetime experience’ when, as an amateur, you suddenly find yourself next to a great person,” according to Paul Engelbertink, director of the Dutch Dart Association.
