The Italian national team has to do without Riccardo Calafiori in the second leg of the Nation’s League quarter-final against Germany. The Arsenal defender fails for the game on Sunday (from 8:45 p.m. in the live ticker at T-Online) due to a knee injury.
As the Italian association announced on Friday afternoon, the 22-year-old suffered a sprain and bruise on the left knee in the 1-2 defeat against Germany on Thursday in Milan. Despite the injuries, Calafiori played the game until the final whistle. After investigations, the defender now returned to his club in London for further treatment.
