With an 87:77 home win, the Fit/One Würzburg Baskets compensate for the semi-final series against Ratiopharm Ulm. Shooting star Hannes Steinbach and Davion Mintz shone with accuracy.

In the second game of the series against Ratiopharm Ulm, the Fit/One Würzburg Baskets were able to compensate for at home in the gymnasium with an 87:77 (20:20, 26:17, 20:20, 21:20). Although the result is quite clear in the end, the Ulm were almost consistently in striking distance.

Balanced again

Ratiopharm Ulm won the first game in the overtime with 91:87. The first quarter of the second semi-final game started similarly. Ulm got off to a better start, but due to the weak offensive of the guests, Würzburg was able to settle something in the meantime. At the end of the first quarter, Ulm found back to old strength and so it was 20:20 after ten minutes.

Würzburg can settle

In addition to a good rebound quota, i.e. the number of rebounded, shooting star Hannes Steinbach was also more accurate in this encounter than in game one. In the middle of the second round, the hosts were able to settle up to eleven points and led to the break with 46:37. The guests continued to have problems on the offensive, while Davion Mintz, Hannes Steinbach and Zac Seljaas shone on Würzburg side with accuracy.

Chaotic second half

In an increasingly chaotic game, it looked in the second half in the meantime that Ratiopharm Ulm can compensate for, but the Würzburgers caught themselves and, thanks to Mike Lewis, were able to pull out to nine points again. The Ulm did not manage to catch up with the lead in the first game. The most accurate player was Davion Mintz with 21 points. Behind it, Hannes Steinbach and Mike Lewis joined 17 points each. On the part of the guests, Marcio Santos brought 15 points on the board. The third meeting continues on Saturday, then again in Ulm.
